Search for affordable rental apartment’s in perth

| April 15, 2013

Check out the sleek, modern designs of the City of Perth’s affordable key-city worker apartments in East Perth.

Need an affordable rental apartment in the City?

Eligible tenants for this new Australian government scheme ,  will need to

1. Work at least 20 hours in the city

2. Earn approximately $46,000 a year.

This is a great initiative, with $46,000 pa being about  what a office receptionist  or a general retails service’s jobs salary in Perth so this is very affordable accommodation with location so close to the city.

This is only for  city workers on a low to middle income and so someone on $46,000 a year would normally find it very difficult to rent this standard in this location and so its a great scheme  for people who cant afford to live far from the city and  are are on a low income.

They are open to viewing on Tuesday 16 April and Thursday 18 April between 12 noon and 2pm.

The project consists of 48 apartments in a three storey “walk up” development. Twenty-six of the apartments are two-bedroom units; the remaining 22 are one-bedroom units.

The project involves the redevelopment of the Goderich Street Public Car Park. The housing development will be built on the front of the site, facing Goderich Street. A secure, covered, multi-level 177-bay public long-stay car park will be completed behind the housing complex, to replace the existing public car park on the site.

Construction will commence in October 2011 and finish in early 2013.
